This policy covers nexaline.online, published by BATI ENERGIA. The short version is that the site sets no cookies at all.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so the site can recognise your browser when you return or move between pages. Cookies are used for things such as keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and measuring or tracking visits, sometimes across many websites.
This site sets no cookies
Nexaline does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not allow any third party to set cookies through it. Specifically, the site has:
- no analytics or visitor-measurement tools;
- no advertising tags or remarketing;
- no tracking pixels or conversion tags;
- no social media buttons or embedded content from other sites;
- no session identifiers or sign-in.
Because there is nothing to consent to, the site does not show a cookie banner. A banner asking you to accept cookies would suggest that cookies are in use, and that would not be true here.
What happens instead
When you visit a page, your browser sends a request to the web server, as it does for any website. The server records that request in a log: the IP address, the browser's user agent string, the address requested and the time. These logs are kept for security and to diagnose problems, and are deleted after 14 days. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
The site loads no external fonts or scripts, so visiting it sends no request to any other company's servers. Its fonts are those already installed on your device.
If you follow an affiliate link to a vendor's site, you leave Nexaline. That site, and the affiliate network that records the referral, may set their own cookies under their own policies, which you can read on their sites.
No other browser storage or fingerprinting
The site does not use local storage, session storage, IndexedDB or any other browser storage. It does not attempt to identify your device by combining technical details such as screen size, installed fonts or browser settings, a technique known as fingerprinting. The small amount of JavaScript on the site only opens and closes the menu on narrow screens.
Managing cookies in your browser
Even though this site sets none, you may want to manage cookies for other sites. All major browsers let you view, block and delete cookies, usually under a Privacy or Security section in the browser's settings. You can typically choose to block third-party cookies, clear cookies when you close the browser, or make exceptions for sites you trust. Your browser's help pages explain the exact steps for your version.
Blocking all cookies will have no effect on how Nexaline works.
If this ever changes
If BATI ENERGIA ever decides to introduce cookies or any similar technology on this site, this page will be updated before they are used, and a consent mechanism will be in place so that no non-essential cookie is set until you have agreed to it.
